With the extensive knowledge of pre-cataclysmic times that King Ace Ripley possesses, it is not surprising that many bits of information from pre-cataclysm Earth would shine through in his business. This medium transport tractor named Kenworth, after the pre-cataclysm company by the same name, is one such example. This new age rig however looks nothing like what one would expect to find from the actual Kenworth company, as it looks much more like a bad prop for a road warrior movie than a practical tractor rig.
Despite the Kenworth's unpractical appearance it is a powerful tractor, capable of pulling a loaded trailer up to 30 tons in weight. Produced of durable ceraphite and durasten, the Kenworth is fairly well armored, well enough to survive most any trek across a reasonable distance of country. (Though still a far cry from the International.) As a result of these features the Kenworth is commonly acquired by mining firms throughout the Kingdom of Desert Star, the Colorado Baronies, and the Kingdom of El Paso. Farmers in the Colorado Baronies, Desert Star, and Kingsdale have also acquired this vehicle for service in their' line of work. The main disadvantage of the Kenworth is it's unconventional layout. Maintenance is not terribly easy given it's rear engine mount. Most any significant work that has to be done to the engine requires the whole thing to be lifted and extracted to get at portions of it. Furthermore it's homely appearance and the lack of availability of trailers capable of reaching the high boot mounting point on the back of the Kenworth makes it a rather poor seller compared to the Mack and the International.
